28th December

2019 CMMS regulations are out. Mod Saloons are now to be known as Super Saloons.

5th December

BARC South East is no more. The 3 current championships will be run under the Classic and Modern Motorsport umbrella.

18th November

Guest driver Wil Arif qualified 3rd overall in a Saab Turbo before taking 6th overall in  the first modified saloon race. As high up as 5th in race 2 the car was stopped just 2 laps from the finish.

28th October

Two class wins and sixth overall twice from a grid that saw only 12 cars out.

27th October

Gary dragged Bertie out for a Brands Hatch modified saloon meeting qualifying 9th overall.

23rd September

Sean should be back out for the next mod saloon round at Lydden.

22nd September

Eight mod saloons at Snetterton. Seven made it to race 1, and 5 to race 2. Sidwell took the honours in both outings.

1st September

Only 5 mod saloons made it to Rockingham. The on form Holden of Alex Sidwell winning both races.

25th August

Jim Green is hoping to be back in the pool soon and going for the 90 to 95 year age championship records.

17th August

Looks like neither Gary nor Sean will be taking part at Rockingham on September 1st.

5th August

Long summer break over for the Modified Saloons. Gary non started the race in the Team BX Sport Citroen along with several others leaving only 9 to fight it out. Sean in 6th place. Unfortunately a water hose split and the Cossie was retired after one lap. Only 3 Modifieds made it to the flag. Race 2 and another retirement for Sean when the turbo packed up whilst running 5th.

15th June

Fairweather is now 9th overall in the BARC modified saloons and 2nd in class.

10th June

Back to Brands for a non-championship race and this time no mistakes as Sean motored home 4th overall and class winner.

9th June

Sean Fairweather set his fastest ever Brands Hatch lap on his way to qualifying 5th overall and 1st in class at Speedfest VI. He led the class battle for all but the last lap when the Richards Mini nipped through to take the win.

13th May

A top ten qualifying slot only netted Sean Fairweather 3rd in class on the grid of the 16 strong field of BARC Modified saloons. Race 1, nothing changed as he brought home his Sierra Cosworth 10th overall, 3rd in class. Race 2 and Sean dropped his pace due to high engine temps yet finished 7th overall and once again 3rd in class.

28th April

Team BX Sport Citroen Xsara will hopefully return to the track for round 3.

10th April

Sean entered for round 2 on May 13.

24th March

Sean Fairweather has registered but will miss the first round.

15th March

QMN regs published.

24th February

Slight change to QMS calendar. The modified saloons will only be out on April 2nd. Similar thing for May when QMS are only required for the one day, the 13th. Registrations are now open, although the regulations have yet to be published.

7th February

2018  QMS championship calendar released.

22nd January

2017  QMS championship standings finally confirmed.

20th January

Sean Fairweather in addition to his class championship and overall championship runner-up awards picked up the Alan Phillips Trophy for top Fordat the BARC SE dinner dance.

4th January

CSCC Special Saloon dates confirmed.

1st January
