BARC South East will organise the Quaife Modified Saloon championship for 2018.

25th November

QMS 2018 will begin at Brands Hatch weekend 1st/2nd of April.

12th November Sean has finished 8th in the Sydney Allard Trophy points - 3rd of the QMS drivers.
5th November

Bonfire night and things certainly went with a bang as four drivers were injured in 3 separate incidents in race 1. Sean won his class giving him the class D title. Another class win in race 2 secured 2nd spot overall in the Quaife Modified Saloon championship. (subject to confirmation)

4th November

A gentle run in the damp saw Fairweather qualify 8th overall, 1st in class for the penultimate race of the QMS championship.

5th October

The last round of the QMS season planned for November 4/5 weekend may be put back 2 weeks to weekend 18/19 due to scheduling issues.

29th September

Fairweather now 7th in Sydney Allard trophy points.

28th September

Sean firmly in the top ten overall of the Quaife Modified Saloons Championship in 2nd place and leading class D by 45 points. He needs a class top 5 finish in one of the remaining two races to clinch class D. The championship has been won already by Rod Birley (Escort WRC).

24th September

9th overall and 1st in class in qualifying became 9th overall and 1st in class after race 1 for the Fairweather Cosworth. Race 2 saw two of the class runners non start. The Dorrington Peugeot made the better start and headed the class until lap 5 when Sean powered by on the run to Paddock. On lap 10 the 205 got out of shape at Druids and made heavy contact with the Cripps BMW before colliding with the Charlton Seat. With only Sean left in class it looked an easy victory behind the pace car but the front right tyre punctured. The team encouraged him to carry on, not wanting him to pit in case of a red flag. Three laps later with the tyre hanging off the rim, the now damaged front wing and bumper he finally crossed the line to extend his class lead.

12th September

Provisional championship standings show Sean back leading the class and up to 3rd overall. There are 4 more races to go. He has moved up one place in the Sydney Allard trophy to 8th.

10th September

Sean Fairweather put his Sierra Cosworth tenth in qualifying at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit and 1st in class. He maintained his class advantage and finished a fantastic 5th overall.

1st September

QMS at Brands next weekend will be just the one race on the Grand Prix circuit.

28th August

MSA have taken fuel samples from several cars in QMS so all championship points and standings remain provisional.

25th August

Fairweather at number 9 in the Sydney Allard Trophy with 62 points.

22nd August

Sean has slipped to 5th overall, 2nd in class in the Quaife Modified Saloon championship. Bill Richards now leads class D.

19th August

A case of 11th overall, 2nd in class for qually, race 1 and race 2.

1st August

Mighty close in the points after the latest dnf. Sean now 3rd overall and still leading class D but only 4 points cover the top 3 in the class.

29th July

Summer break over. Fairweather 13th overall, 2nd in class after qualifying. A dnf in race 1 was followed up by a good drive from the back of the grid to 10th overall, 2nd in class at the flag.

5th June

Following his recent on track success Sean has entered the top ten of the Sydney Allard Trophy standings.

30th May

29th May

Sean picked up 2nd in class at Brands Hatch in his Sierra Cosworth. He now has a 3 point lead over the Charlton Leon and retains 2nd overall in the championship behind the Birley WRC Escort.

1st May

Championship update. Sean now 2nd overall equal with class rival Charlton in a Seat Leon FR. Double class winner at Brands Richards is 3rd in class.

29th April

Fairweather 7th overall/2nd in class at Brands. Race 1 - 8th overall/2nd in class. A dnf in race 2 when 4th overall and leading the class following a clash with the Focus of Adams.

11th April

Sean confirmed as title leader

8th April

Fairweather takes class pole and goes on to claim 2 class wins to head the QMS championship (unofficial).

6th April

Jim Green has been awarded an Honorary Life Membership of King's Cormorants Swimming Club. This is Jim's second Honorary Life Membership award, the first was given to him by Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club.

1st April

First official showing of the QMS championship standings put Sean 5th overall.

31st March

GH Electrical have agreed support for the team this year.

26th March

Race 1 saw some improvement as Sean finished 9th overall, 2nd in class. Race 2 he went one better claiming 8th and a class win.

25th March

Sean qualified 11th of 18.

24th February

Fairweather all set for the upcoming season. His Ford Sierra Cosworth will be in class D of QMS.

7th February

Sean Fairweather to return to racing after missing the whole of the 2016 season. He will contest the Quaife Modified Saloons Championship.

18th January

Q(MN) now to be called Quaife Modified Saloon Car  Championship.

Motorsport News has withdrawn its support of the QMN championship.
